Senior Mechanical Engineer Rotating
Job Requirements:5 – 10 years of related experience in engineering business in the (petro)chemical and/or pharmacutical industry with knowledge of national/international rules and regulations.
 
The Engineer shall have experience in engineering of mechanical rotating equipment ranging from:

    * pumps
    * Agitators
    * compressors ( recip and centrifugal) to (small) process package units up to solids handling systems

 
The Engineer shall have computer skills and able to communicate in English language, verbal and in writing, and shall be VCA VOL(advantage) certified.
 
Job Responsibilities:
The Engineer will be involved on projects ranging from conceptual to detailed phase with engineering tasks on these projects acting as “the spider in the web” for preparation of equipment datasheets, specifications and requisitions.
The Engineer will make  evaluations of (vendor) bids with involvement of technical clarifications and review of documents and inspection assistance is part of task
 
Work Location: The Netherlands, potential abroad.
 
Department
Our Mechanical department is looking for a senior engineer with 5-10 years of related experience in engineering and construction business in the (petro)chemical or governmental buiness with knowledge of national/international rules and regulations. The engineer shall have computer skills and is able to communicate in English and Dutch language, verbal and in writing, and shall be VCA VOL certified. The Mechanical Engineer should have experience in working knowledege of Dutch codes.
 
Profile

    * HBO (Bachelor degree) or MBO (Technical College) education in Mechanical engineering
    * More than 5 years of experience in a similar function
    * Knowledge of all international safety standards
    * Good understanding the requirements for construction on a standard plant.
    * Fluent in English and Dutch, both verbal and written
    * Good knowledge of Word and Excel
    * Flexible, pro-active and a team player
